Promoter: The Scottish National Party, an unincorporated membership organisation. It is also a registered political party regulated by the Electoral Commission. It exists to promote Scottish Independence and all other Scottish interests.

The Scottish National Party registered office is at Gordon Lamb House, 3 Jackson’s Entry, Edinburgh, Scotland EH8 8PJ ("the Promoter", "we", "us").

1. Eligibility
1.1 The promotion is open to residents of the Scottish Parliamentary Constituency of Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale, aged 18 or over only, except for:
(a) employees, agents, contractors, or consultants of the Promoter, its group companies, or any parties directly connected with the administration of this promotion;
(b) the immediate family or household members of those persons listed in 1.1(a).
1.2 By entering, each entrant confirms they are 18 years of age or older. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age (e.g. valid passport, driving licence, or other government-issued photo ID) from any entrant at any stage, including before dispatching any prize. Entries or prize claims from anyone unable to provide satisfactory proof of age will be void.
1.3 Entry is only open to individuals; entries made by trade, business, or consumer groups on behalf of individuals are not permitted.

2. How to Enter
2.1 The promotion runs from 00:00 on 15th September 2026 to 23:59 on 30th November 2026 ("the Promotion Period"). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be counted.
2.2 Entry Method: To enter via this method, entrants must successfully complete and submit the provided survey form available at https://www.calumkerr.scot/yrtd-prize-draw during the Promotion Period.
2.4 No purchase is necessary to enter this promotion, and no method of entry gives a greater chance of winning than any other.
2.5 Only one entry per person is permitted regardless of entry method used. Multiple or duplicate entries from the same person will be disqualified.
2.6 Entries must be made by the entrant personally. Automated, bulk, or third-party entries are not permitted and will be disqualified.
2.7 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or not received for any reason, including due to technical failures, network issues, or postal delays.

3. The Prize
3.1 There is one prize available, consisting of: one 70cl bottle of Scottish Parliament premium Single Malt Scotch Whisky, approximate retail value £60.
3.2 No cash or other alternative to the prize will be offered. The prize is not transferable and cannot be sold.
3.3 The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
3.4 The prize will only be released to winners who provide satisfactory proof that they are 18 years of age or over, in accordance with clause 1.2. If a winner cannot provide such proof within 14 days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select an alternative winner in accordance with clause 4.
3.5 The prize will be delivered by hand to an address within the Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale area only, within 7 days of the winner's identity and age being verified.

4. Winner Selection and Notification
4.1 The Winner will be selected at random from all eligible, valid entries received during the Promotion Period, using an independently verified random number generator, within 7 days of the closing date.
4.2 The winner(s) will be notified by email or telephone using the contact details provided at entry, within 7 days of selection.
4.3 If a winner does not respond to notification within 14 days, or does not meet the eligibility or age-verification requirements, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner and select another winner in accordance with clause 4.1.
4.4 The Promoter's decision on all matters relating to the promotion, including winner selection, is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
4.5 The surname and county of the winner(s) will be available on request by emailing calumkerrsnp@gmail.com for up to 3 months after the closing date.

5. Responsible Drinking
5.1 This promotion is intended for entrants who consume alcohol responsibly. The Promoter encourages all entrants and winners to drink responsibly. For further information and advice, visit drinkaware.co.uk.
5.2 Nothing in this promotion should be understood as encouraging excessive, irresponsible, or underage consumption of alcohol.

6. Data Protection
6.1 Personal data collected as part of this promotion will be used solely for the purposes of administering the promotion, verifying eligibility and age, and delivering the prize, or for other uses as detailed in the Privacy Policy available at https://www.snp.org/privacy/.
6.2 Data will not be used for any marketing purposes unless the entrant has separately and explicitly opted in to receive such communications.
6.3 By entering, entrants consent to the processing of their personal data as described in this clause and in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disqualification
7.1 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or withhold a prize from any individual who it reasonably believes has breached these terms, tampered with the entry process, engaged in fraudulent activity, or acted in an abusive, threatening, or inappropriate manner towards the Promoter or its staff.

8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Except in relation to death, personal injury, or fraud caused by the Promoter's negligence (which the Promoter does not exclude), the Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by entrants or winners in connection with this promotion or the prize, to the extent permitted by law.
8.2 This clause does not affect entrants' statutory rights.
9. General
9.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms, or to cancel, suspend, or withdraw the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its reasonable opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control, without liability to entrants, except where required by law.
9.2 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, FaceBook, YouTube and TikTok, where applicable.
9.3 This promotion and these terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
